API Overview

ShareThis supports an additional JavaScript API for developers that need more control over what is being shared.

It provides programmatic control of display options and supports a function based interface.

Use this when you need to:

Override the default elements within share object properties such as:

  • URL
  • summary
  • content
  • and more

Share multiple objects per page (e.g. images, videos, embedded flash widgets, etc.)
