Job Title: Senior Web Developer
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Description: This person is responsible for mentoring and coordinating the work assignments for a small team of PHP developers. In addition, this person is responsible for working with the Product team on refining product requirements and developing well-structured and documented code, as well as developing technical and user documentation. As the Senior Web Developer, you will be based in our Cincinnati, Ohio office, and be primarily responsible for the development of the ShareThis product.
Requirements:
- Preferred skills include LAMP, PHP, Java, Ajax, Flex, CSS, DHTML, HTML, Ruby, Perl.
- Database development (SQL) experience, especially in MySQL and/or Oracle.
- Proven industry experience in leading a small development team.
- Experience in SCRUM and TDD methodologies a plus.
- Strong SOA skills, web technologies, XML, etc.
- Ability to be comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced team environment (a start-up)
- Highly desired is understanding of social networking and social media websites
