Weebly is one of the most popular website building platforms on the Internet. By installing ShareThis buttons on your Weebly blog or website, you can empower readers to share your stories across their favorite social media platforms.

Just follow these easy steps.

Step 1: Design your share buttons.

Head to the ShareThis design platform. Choose the social channels you want to feature and customize your buttons.

Step 2: Click “Register & get the code.”

If you haven’t registered yet, sign up for free in seconds.

Step 3: Copy code under “Install sharethis.js on your website.”

Keep this page open, as you’ll come back for the code under the second section.

Step 4: Log in to your Weebly account.

Step 5: Choose “Edit Site.”

Step 6: Select the “Embed Code” icon from the sidebar.

Step 7: Drag the icon onto your website page.

Place the icon anywhere on your page.

Step 8: Click “Edit Custom HTML.”

Step 9: Paste your code into the text box.

Step 10: Copy the code under the second section.

Step 11: Select the “Embed Code” icon from the sidebar.

You did this in Step 6, but you need to do it again so you can paste the new code in.

Step 12: Drag the icon onto your website page.

Unlike what you did in Step 7, this time you need to place this icon where you want your share buttons to appear. If you want them to appear at the top of your page, for example, place the icon above or under your header. If you want them to appear below your content, place the icon at the bottom of your page.

You can place the “Embed Code” icon on multiple places on your page or on multiple pages. Just be sure to enter the code for each.

Step 13: Click “Edit Custom HTML.”

Step 14: Paste your code into the text box.

Step 15: Click “Publish” in the top right corner.

Note: Your share buttons may not appear on the backend of your site. You may have to view your published site to see them.

Step 16: Visit your website and view your share buttons.
